Few questions about whether it's candida or parasite causing this
Things I had taken: flagyl - 2 months, rifaximin - 1 months, nystatin-2months , diflucan - 4months, lamisil-2months
I was diagnosed with SIBO, took a lot of medications.
I had Organic acids test from Genova many times. The results showed that i have candida, clostridium, and other bacteria overgrowth.
I'm confused by symptoms that i'm currently suffering from. I don't know whether it's candida or
parasite that cause this problem.
1) while taking first round of rifaximin, i noticed crawling, biting sensation in my legs. Back then, i had a burning sensation around my rectum area. But while on rifaximin, that burning sensation moved to legs also.
It feels like somethings are emitting toxins inside my legs.
2) When I wake up, i notice bruises on my legs very frequently.
3) On second day of taking flagyl, I noticed a really horrible
Body Odor which eventually lasted for more than a year.
4) And this
Body Odor got worse when i'm on my menstural period.
5) After having meals, my
Body Odor gets significantly reduced?? But the effect lasts for about 2 hours or so.
6) The current test result showed that I have problems in metaboilc mechanism of lipids, and carbohydrates. And lack of amino acids.
7) When I take Vit B, garlic - my body odor gets worse.
I read that both flagyl and rifaximin are used as a treamtment for some
parasite strains.
And ironically, I heard that for most people, their body odor gets reduced after taking flagyl.
Also, I can't find info about if
parasites also gets vicious during menstural period like candida does?
I don't know whether I should go for
parasite RX medication or just another rounds of antifungals:(
P.S
I've tried albendazole - didn't notice any change.
Rounds of antifungals RX - odors got reduced gradually, but not completely.
Another round of flagyl after surgery - BO problem returned heavily again.
I've tried many herbs(humaworm, Pau D'Arco, Blakc walnut, Oregano etc). I can't say that those weren't helpful, but I realized that these are effective for maintaining condition; when problems are at bay.
