You seem to be the person in the know regarding water fasting. I have a couple of questions if you could spare me a few minutes of your time?
I'm starting a 2/3 week Water Fast tomorrow, having fasted before I have a couple of issues that I'd like advice on before I begin:
The taste in my mouth gets so horrible it makes me sick, and water ends up tasting toxic. Can I drink green tea occasionally? I don't think it has calories and has no Sugar in it, or do you have another suggestion?
Sometimes my legs get achy when I lie in bed, this must be some sort of mineral/electrolyte deficiency. What should I do in this situation? What am I deficient in?
My metabolism seems really sluggish after messing up previous water fasts, so id like to do some exercise whilst fasting. Body weight calisthenics to tone and maintain muscle mass, not cardio. Will this be an issue? Will I deplete my electrolytes this way?
