On second thoughts............I think I'll bail out here too. I had prepared a draft reply to one of your recent posts (the one that quotes Spurgeon), but I now question its value to the debate. Not coz it lacks in anything, but coz I see no point in any enterprise that potentially undermines your emotional investment in CI. It obviously gives you some personal comfort to believe it, so what would be the point of 'taking candy from a baby,' so to speak? Sometimes, it's just best to agree to differ.
No, if I want to take this further, I think I'll seek out your experts and do battle with them instead. That would make a lot more sense. At least the other debates about the millennium & associated issues have much less at stake in terms of emotion, etc. Having said that, I would suggest that refreshed has almost as much emotion invested in her millennium as you do in CI. The only difference is that she could ditch it quite easily without traumatic consequences to her well being, even if she doesn't realise it yet.
So, back to the main subject at hand. Long overdue too, and thanks for the distraction.
