Not correct, Green is smaller particles. This is due to plasmon resonance frequency. (silver particles absorb light based on their surface area. The lighter the colour, the smaller the particles. Large particles will be dark amber / brown depending on how large they get.

Given that the solution was described as gold previously, it is unlikely that the particles would become smaller so this would indicate contamination not particle size Tweet
