There are different strains of Jiaogulan, some are very bitter while others are mildly sweet and similar to green tea. I've tried both and I would DEFINITELY recommend the latter. I couldn't bear to drink the bitter one for more than a few days. The sweet one I've been drinking for almost 2 years now and love the taste. I order from Majestic Herbs (http://majesticherbs.com/) and theirs is the best tasting Jiaogulan I've tried. It's also cheaper than most other brands and it's organic.
