What has helped my IBS

I found that using gelatin (organic) has helped with IBS. I use this along with peppermint tea and sometimes roobios tea. Both of these herbs are known to help the intestinal tract by reducing inflammation and soothing it.

The gelatin is made up of 2 amino acids, proline and glycine which is the same amino acid profile of the intestinal tract. The gelatin helps rebuild the tract.

IBS is likely caused by pathogenic organisms such as rogue bacteria, yeast, parasites (worms and protozoa). The intestinal tract becomes destroyed by the involvement of the immune system which is trying to eliminate the pathogens.

When the intestinal tract becomes destroyed then you create more inflammation which is bad. In my opinion , by reducing the inflammatory process, you are helping the microbiome (healthy microbes) to become healthier which leads to a healthier you.
