As in-charge says, the abscess is mostly beneath the surface so Colloidal Silver works slowly and doesnt do the full job.

However if you want to knock out abscesses, by far the most effective is to use Bentonite clay. Take some moist clay and layer it between the cheek and gum next to the tooth with the infection.

Keep changing out the clay every few hours. I even sleep with it in. The next morning it should be knocked down quite a bit, and completely gone by the end of the day.
