I've been increasingly unwell since my major crash 1.5 years ago -- hypoglycemia, 'adrenal fatigue', balance problems, GI issues, severe mood instability, malabsorption etc.
I was having trouble tolerating *any* intervention, even basics that I was deficient in like Vitamin D and B12. Everything that mildly stimulated my immune system just seemed to crash me.
I found a good chronic fatigue specialist who thinks I have high copper and suggested beginning with coffee enemas to try and unload my immune system's burden.
I skeptically began them 2 weeks ago and they've been the only thing that's made some kind of difference (for better or worse) so far. I get a lot of the symptoms associated with copper dumps after doing them: agitation, racing thoughts, headaches, nausea etc. My cortisol feels constantly high now, which is better than being constantly low.
She wanted me to take a compounded Zinc cream as well, but I can't afford it, so I'm eating a super-food mix that has about 22.5mg of Zinc per serve.
She also thinks I have a Candida issue, and I have seen Candida in my stool since starting the enemas.
If I am detoxing from Copper, how long can I expect this intense symptom-phase to possibly go on for?
