Re: Itchy red bumps under armpits days after sex with stranger

Hey man,

Sorry to hear of your situation. I AM NO DOCTOR! But if it was passed to you by sex, it seems like it could be SCABIES.

Tea Tree and Neem Oil supposedly work on scabies:

If they are scabies, you will also need to wash all your clothes, vaccuum carpets etc, or else treat yourself and go stay in a clean hotel for a couple days while they all die. Supposedly they only live for 24-36 hours without a human host. I don't know if animals can infect humans or not.

However, I would suggest you go to your GP or free clinic and get tested to rule out things they can actually catch, ie scabies, syphyllis, herpes. They will also do a swab of the bumps, I would imagine, and send the culture to a lab.

If it does happen to be an STD and they want you to take a broad spectrum antibiotic, I would give my suggestion at the end a try first. However, if you'd rather not wait and take them, please also ask for a nystatin prescription(strong antifungal with minimal side effects, will keep candida albicans from forming after Antibiotics kill large amount of good bacteria). Plus supplement with a good probiotic supplement for a couple weeks after your Antibiotics . Make sure to include plenty of prebiotic type foods, ie raw garlic, artichokes, raw or cooked onions (google prebiotic foods for more info) in your diet during both the Antibiotics and probiotic phase.

Once you rule out the possibility of known STD's, then I would begin searching for the cause of these bumps. Maybe something was passed to you by your encounter, but you also need to look at something separate as the possible cause. Did you do something as innocuous as use a friends deodorant, new laundry detergent causing a reaction, or other possible cause?

In the meantime, olive leaf extract(20% oleuropeins), oregano oil capsules, and maybe some pau d'arco would be a great routine in the meantime to begin to combat it if it happens to be bacterial/fungal/viral.

Best wishes and hope you have a speedy recovery!
