In my experience, the Terramin works better. You need to stick with it for several months.
It sounds like your stomach acids are off and Terramin might help with that as well. Have you tried supplementing with Betaine HCL?
Try cysteine, if N-acetylcysteine causes a bad reaction. They are two different substances.
You may want to check neurotransmitter levels.
