Oh my god, I am so horribly traumatised. My first enema was a complete disaster. I have watched the YouTube instructions, I've been colonic-ed enough times, I thought it would be OK. It wasn't.

I actually think the kit itself was awful - I got it from the place recommended by my colonic hydrotherapist and it's the only one they sell so I felt fairly comfortable......

But the tap needed LEVERAGE to turn, and it was right down at the body end of the tube..... there was no way I could get two hands there. And so I think I might have hurt myself just in turning the damn thing on and off. My paranoid brain now is doing somersaults thinking I've probably caused a tear and given my little f*ckers a way into my blood stream.

And it leaked, all over my bathroom floor - I've never leaked during a colonic, EVER.

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
