Re: Iodine question
This may explain your problems.
SSKI does not contain iodine. It is only Potassium Iodide. (Super Saturated Potassium Iodide)
The recommended
Iodine is
Lugols or Iodoral which contain both
Iodine and potassium iodide. Some parts of the body require
Iodine & other parts need potassium iodide.
Lugols or iodoral contain both in the correct ratio.
Then the recommended dosage is 100mg by Trapper & this board, or 50mg by Dr. Brownstein, with the co-supplements. Trapper has determined that 100mg speeds through detox as compared to smaller doses. This does work well for MOST people, but not all.

Some may have a rare thyroid condition that requires starting with the co-supplements for 3+ weeks before starting a small dosage of iodine, called Hashimotos or hyperthyroid.

Fortunately, most of us need not worry about this. This file is to help guide those who suffer from extremely cold hands or who suffer from excessive sweat & heated condition.
Huge doses of
SSKI are primarily recommended for people with lung problems or other special needs. I am one of these people, and 400 to 800mg of
SSKI has been a miracle for when my lungs are acting up, many thanks to our resident Guru Trapper. I have not yet documented the other special needs for high doses of SSKI, so I could use suggestions for these special needs.
Bottom line: One size does not fit all, but the recommendations by Trapper & other gurus at this board does work extremely well for most. The 2 files above were intended to guide everyone with the facts.
Best to you,
Grizz
