Thank you sweet Rainy :), but is it giving up to face reality? Is is giving up to say that Jesus will be enough even if this country goes down? Jesus is enough even in the poorest, most vile countries for those who are in Christ.

In Christ, we have all we need, even if we suffer greatly. The apostles were beaten and slaughtered. But even though they knew they were facing that fate, they didn't give up. The best life is not now (sorry Joel Osteen), it's in the new heaven and earth.

My hope is in Christ, not the redeeming of America. And while God can do whatever he desires to, I do not think he is going to redeem America. If he does, then that will be wonderful. If he doesn't, then he still knows what he's doing. My hope rests in Christ alone regardless.
