Re: Edit: Heresy

Refreshed, there is nothing in that article that makes me think that he was saved. Many churches do not preach the salvation message. Many people go to church every Sunday to learn about Christ, but that's as far as they get. They never come to know Christ which is necessary for salvation. They never experience the new birth.

He told Christian Broadcasting Network in 2012: “I’m a Protestant; I’m a Presbyterian. And you know I’ve had a good relationship with the church over the years. I think religion is a wonderful thing. I think my religion is a wonderful religion.”

According to what he said above, his relationship was with the church, not Christ. I have witnessed to some like this. They did not have a clue how to get saved until I explained it to them. You and I both know it's not about religion. Yes, it sounds like he was religious. It's a personal relationship with Christ that's the real wonderful thing. A true born-again Christian would have stated that. It is hard for me to believe that Trump was saved based on what he said in this article.
