I don't think Eric is anywhere near that off. I'm pretty sure he preaches the true gospel. People are upset with him because of what he did to his dad. This may be causing some exaggerations which would be lies being told about him. I heard Kent say that Eric has a great ministry. I'm pretty sure Kent would not say that if Eric was preaching a false gospel. I thought Eric was afraid to stand up to the gray haired guy. He must know with his false beliefs that this guy is not a real Christian. The old man has made up his own gospel and way to salvation. I'm sure it is appealing to many if he can convince them that it is truth. Telling others that he is getting it from the original Greek text is adding credibility to what he is saying to those who do not check it out for themselves. Also, I have heard that some have now written their own Greek to match their beliefs in order to fool people. Deception is everywhere. This is found in some interlinear texts I have heard.
