Re: Help shape my Candida Battle, Please
The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Candida wants to give you a hug every time you take something antibacterial. Even garlic in high quantities is an issue as outside of the 1-2% range it is either too weak, or too effective against bacteria. (Unless you have been eating garlic for years, or can get kombucha/kefir/sauerkraut made by someeone who has!
The entire reason fluconazole, ketoconazole, and other antifingals work is that they DON'T kill bacteria! Candida is actually a possible side-effect of
Antibiotics !
Hmm... Avocado looks to have a good mix of carbs and protein (about like all bran buds), which means I may be able to eat some! (Not a lot). Now, how am I going to eat it as I can't have chips??? If only sources of chitinase without pau d'arco and other strong antibacterial agents existed... But those might actually cure you rather than causing immediate relapse as soon as you stop! So what company would sell that?
I'll keep looking.
The key is to kill the candida and not the bacteria, probiotics are not enough for a severe case (but they do help).
