I have never used anti-fungal medicine as I prefer more natural methods. But of course it is always sensible to go slow and work up to a tolerable amount, depending on the toxic die-off. I wouldn't hesitate to take the probiotics. Some reliable information has disclosed that anti-fungals tend to drive the fungus deeper into the body away from where they are most concentrated, the intestines. I have used the electronic Candida Zapper successfully and highly recommend it. A treatment course for it lasts 10 days and the only other thing you need to do is avoid Sugar because it makes no sense to feed them at the same time as fighting them.
Also you need to realize that there is no once for always treatment. If you have candida then it's because you have faulty immunity which means it will regrow. Not immediately but expect it to come back. Candida spores are everywhere, even in the air we breath. So you can expect to need maintenance treatments from now on. But that is better than having candida overgrowth.
