i read your post and here's a little tip for ya.
this is coming from a muslim and we HAVE to fast every year for a month, so i know how you feel. i get SO hungry and thirsty.I really don't think there's a way to cure it. but i can tell you something: DO NOT FAST ON YOUR PERIOD. EVER. even we, the girls that HAVE to fast every ramadan eat on our periods. no one fasts on their periods because of how dangerous it is. think about it, you're loosing blood, you need fluids, nutrients. the cramps can only get relieved with certain drinks and foods. hope it all goes well... sorry it wasn't much helps, but atleast i can tell you that it does get better the more you get used to it..
