Re: Static electricity

My alarm system control panel is in the laundry room. Twice I have walked down the hallway and as I approached the doorway, I heard "alarm system activated". I was alone at home and the panel was not not activated until I walked past the doorway into the laundry room. Also, daily in the laundry room is lint from the clothes dryer along with a basket of dirty clothes. I sweep the floor free from lint and dust balls every day. Every day there are new dust balls, lint and threads. Those things are so hard to sweep up, moving away from the broom, back under the washer, climbing up the wall.. I have to spray water and chlorox on them to be able to sweep them into the dustpan. They are usually a black color and odd shapes. Every day? I am like a t.v. antenna from the old days when I pass the t.v. My radio in the car has trouble staying on the channel, in and out with static. The push button for the windows in the car works when I don't want it to, then won't work when I push it. It is a perfectly good switch. I feel the electricity holding my vaccumm handle, a low humming vibrating my arm. My husband does not feel it, see it or hear it. Light bulbs are constantly quitting on me, my husband will check and they are fine and working. Just a little more going on than normal but unexplainable. Have you heard of this happening? Tweet
