No, actually, zappers made in the US are the best choice. The FDA has shut down almost every zapper company that makes zappers in the US. The few remaining have found a way to avoid the control and that is why they are still in business.

The ones made outside of the US are the ones to be concerned about because you definitely do not know what you are getting and you have little or no recourse if something goes wrong.

Everyone should note that the FDA does not go after many of the foreign zappers because they are not very effective.

There are a couple that I would consider to be good, including one from Canada ( not Ultimate ) that produces multiple frequencies but not as accurate as ParaZapper.
