I too have spent a lot of time looking at TCM over more than 20 years. It's ideas on emotional connections to the bodies organs are spot on IMO. The Liver's connection to anger, the Kidney's connection to fear and the lung's connection to sadness is excellent and mirrors what iridology shows. Nerve rings can be traced in the iris showing how repressed emotions link the different organs and how they affect illness.

However with regard to the pancreas tail, it's fear of change which causes the problem. I know where that came from in me.

Increased Intestinal Permeability which is caused by a bacterial infection is another element and is what causes the autoimmune problems which contribute to the beta cell destruction.

That infection, which almost never goes away as it is protected by a biofilm, also contributes to the diabetic problems such as nervous system damage that many diabetics face later in life.

Successfully destroy that infection and the table is turned and many common problems are considerably less likely to occur.
