Actually, it is much more serious than that.

If I hire a writer, it is the same as me doing the posting. For that reason, I would actually have to proofread and approve anything that the writer posted in advance.

If I hired a writer and they posted for example that a zapper actually cured someone, I would be legally liable for that statement unless they did so against my direct orders.
