Hello Dr. McCombs,

First and foremost, I admire you for taking time out of your busy schedule to address people’s concerns in regards to this pesky disease state. I just recently found out about my overgrowth over a year or so ago and am finally prepared to commit to ridding it from my life (minimal stress levels). I knew something was severely wrong after a 5 months course of Accutane antibiotics just before I turned 16 years of age. For me, its main effects are mind fog, alexithymia (loss of emotional intelligence), and derealization. Saying it has crippled my life is an understatement. If it wasn’t for supportive family members and an amazing girlfriend, I wouldn’t be here today because of candida overgrowth and its accompanying dysbiosis buddies.

Enough about me, the reasoning’s behind your program are more inspiring and practical than anything else I could find on the web. I do have some questions for you before I start though. If I can be disciplined enough to adhere to your guidelines I will have a chance of being reborn from my chronic dream state.

1) Is it ok to combine the undecenoic acid doses into a single dose? or at the very least, split them into two doses? I can't take the gelcaps because of their free glutamate msg like properties. I end up having to squirt gelcaps into a glass of water and drink that monstrosity. Tastes Terrible but worth the non msg effects gelatin capsules offer. I'm using thornes sf722 formula.

2) Is there ever a time to reduce water consumption or tone down the sweating recommendations or are they necessary for the entire 4 month protocol?

3.) I would like to incorporate garlic (raw, cooked, or both) into your plan. Would u mind expressing your take on the matter?
