Re: High cortisol adrenal fatigue
What test reported high levels of cortisol, for example, a blood test before 9am?
Check out this on the subject.

That fit a close female friend's situation rather well--long history of PTSD, anxiety, poor sleep, plenty of brain fog, expecially in stressful situations. She could get some things done in the morning, including light exercise, but not in stressful situations and did not do as well later in the day. She usually needed a nap although this was in her 40s while eating a
healthy Diet and not being significantly overweight.
Her AM blood and saliva were similarly normal maybe even high side of normal; however, her saliva cortisol was low the remainder of the day.
Have you gotten a reasonable sex hormone panel? If you do, I suggest that you pay the extra to include pregnenolone, especially if you suspect "estrogen dominance" due to low progesterone.

Roughly what is your age? Obviously there are some different considerations for a 50-something female rather than a 30-something.
More later after your reply.
