I must agree that all these days I have been thinking a lot about my lips but I can't help it .
The buildup doesn't come off on its own when dry . It comes off only when it is wet and after that the skin underneath is raw. What I expected was that the upper dead skin would shed on its own and when it peels there would be some new skin building up but thats not what is happenning with me.
Today was the most embarassing day because†I had to go to college today with the dead skin hanging on my lips and even though I didn't lick or peel it , I was constantly thinking about them .
I am now cursing myself for taking accutane . If I had known before about this hideous condition then I would have never taken accutane. My friend too took the same accutane recently and he too is having dry skin but didn't get cheilitis like me . He was constanly picking on the dead skin and I adviced him to not peel them and now his lips improved a lot because he took accutane recently .
I had chapped lips from my childhood that could explain why I got cheilitis and he didn't but I am not sure if that could be the reason.
This is what I am thinking of trying .
1. Liquid Bandage
2. Constant moisture
3. Gluten free diet
4. Liver flush
