Re: the insane notion of iodine allergy

I had an allergic reaction during a CT scan in the 70's. I cannot take vitamin/mineral combinations which contain Iodine without breaking out in hives. Iodized salt, same thing. I tried a different vitamin which did not list Iodine as an ingredient yet in the small print list of "other ingredients" several types of saltwater fish were listed. I cannot eat fish without having an allergic reaction.
