Re: Someone please help
Don't be fearful if things don't work out with the infectious diseases doctor. Be prepared for that to happen. If it does, you have the experience and support of some very sensible and wise people on this forum who have access to people who can help you with dosages and treatment options.
Accept that this may be the route you are forced to take to get your treatment and cure. Allow yourself to get used to that idea as not being too scary.
There is plenty of hope. It requires conistency, plenty of record-keeping, asking the right forum members for advice and long-term commitment.
Consider the idea that it may be 12-18 months of treatment before you can say you are totally cured.
I know that's an awful concept for you at this stage, but it is realistic and moving forward with that in mind may help you to not have expectations that cannot be achieved or put you at risk of making hasty decisions regarding dosage in an attempt to get a cure faster. That appears to not be possible.
Unless you can convince your doctor to contact the UK hospital for their intravenous protocol.
It might be helpful to you in many ways to start a diary or a journal to keep records of how you feel, your symptoms, doctor's names and appointments and dates and each step you take.
