Inflamed Toes

Maybe someone will know something about wounds and healing in regards to a weakened immune system due to long-term use of prednisone (I'm finally off of this now). I had an injury close to 2 months ago and the healing process is snail pace. I had a huge hematoma, which finally healed over with new skin besides these 2 areas. The wound clinic has me putting Medihoney on the 2 holes and it's actually helping, but my issue is the fevers at night and the inability to move my toes. My toes are still very swollen and the range of motion hasn't improved at all.

They mentioned osteomyelitis, inflammation of the bone that is usually caused by infection. Shouldn't this be ruled out ASAP by MRI?

Another thing is that I'm on HRT - Cortef and DHEA. Both are anti-inflammatories and I can notice a significant decrease in inflammation when I apply these. Feel like these are interfering with the body's ability to heal normally. These are for my adrenals and necessary, I tried not taking these and I had a hard time without them.

Anyone have any suggestions about what I need to do?
