Except the part that Ascaris live 2 years, nothing is true. The laid eggs have to be in contact of moist, wed, shaded soil before they become infective so, no, the eggs laid by Ascaris inside me don't hatch in the body itself.

They need to become infective and then swallowed through contaminated food or water by another person, where they become infective. Tweet
