Weaning Off My Desiccated Thyroid Med

Hey kids. I haven't had much response while posting lately, but I can understand how my topics are a bit complex sometimes, and may baffle the audience. Regardless, I am hoping this topic will get some notice since some may have attempted this before.

First of all, let me just remind everyone that mold caused my Hypothyroidism, among countless other things.

After 3 years of misery, I had really had it with my life recently. I hadn't seen a practitioner in a while (come on...I haven't read about ONE curing someone. I've made more progress on my own), so I took a chance on a Korean doctor who made a special spleen cleansing tea for me.
Before getting the brew, I did a bunch if research on the spleen, and thought about my poor digestion during the second half of my menstrual cycle. It dawned on me that out of all the styles of eating I've tried to help cure myself, I never tried cutting out dairy. So, I decided to immediately give up my ultra clean whey protein and eggs.

Coincidentally, I ran out of my thyroid med when doing this. After two days, I looked SOO much leaner without even exercising. But, there's a twist. I swear I think I ate one of those tainted Salmonella cucumber you heard about a few days ago, and a was battling all those nasty symptoms. One of course was a slight fever. This made me question the fat loss.

Well it's officially been 5 days of no thyroid medication, I think I'm over the stomach bug, and I still look lean. My bowel movements have also been better than ever by the way, despite staying low carb.

My only caveat is a very awful anxiety. I'm used to this uncontrollable symptom from the mold, but it's now times ten.

Would anyone guess my adrenals are trying to get used to the lack of thyroid med support? Or perhaps the rice protein I'm substituting has too much arsenic? I admit I need a lot of it to meet my needs.

Either way, between what I'm doing, and maybe this tea, I overall feel better. A happy gut makes a happy thyroid, right?
