My belief is that boron generally targets fluoride and removes it. When there is no more fluoride, it goes after other halogens(boron is unique in that it is only very reactive with halogens). When I was taking it at first it made great improvements, then later I noticed hypothyroid symptoms. I recommended boron to a friend of mine and she had a similar experience, a general reduction in inflammation, then after a period symptoms of hypothyroidism. So boron may be best taken therapeutically then a low maintenance dose.
