Sometimes in order to make a product seem easier to use or more convenient, sellers will include accessories that are actually not the best choice for the application.

In addition to TENS pads for zapping, some offer stainless steel electrodes because they do not corrode. What they either do not realize or do not tell the users is that these electrodes contain Nickel, Chromium, and sometimes Cobalt. These are the alloyed metals that make the steel stainless because they will migrate out of the steel under electrical influence and corrosion, thus keeping the steel bright and shiny.

The problem is that all of these are tissue irritants and actually cause or increase cancer.

If it was good to use, we would include these in our products. The same with TENS pads, If they were that good, we would be offering them.

For anyone interested, If I was to choose the best electrode material, it would probably be titanium. However, it is incredibly expensive and very hard to machine.
