By happenchance last week I had been reading various snippets about the story of Barabbas , this after seeing the old movie of same name that starred Anthony Quinn. Among the pieces browsed was Wikip's entry in which is pointed out the story of Barabbas 1) historically has been used to lay blame on the Jews for the death of Jesus and 2) is used to justify annti-semitism.
