Still B Your brain works so well for problem solving. If you decide to write The Layman's parasite Killling Book, I love proof-reading, editing and structural analysis of the written word. (It needs a different title, I know).

In oz we do not have attics, or basements. Our roof spaces are just that spaces. Some of our roofs are made of asbestos tiles which were used in the 50's. It's a bad idea to cut into them as the disturbed fragments, if breathed in cause mesothilioma. If undisturbed, they make are a great roofing material. Just sharing our weird building practises.

The guy yesterday assured me that the heat in the roof would dissipate any moisture the extraction fan took up there, but I dont believe his theory.

So I will put the extraction fan into the wall in the bathroom just over the window, where it will look nice, or the ceiling (havent decided yet) and take the flexible tubing through to the outer wall (only about 4") and cut a hole in the hardwood weatherboards.

The other option is to move the flexible tubing to a hole cut under the eaves. I dont know if you guys have eaves in your homes. It is where the roof overhangs the outer edge of the house to protect the windows from rain. It is lined with sheeting and this has vents in it.

I think the wall is a more aesthetic look.

I can get it all set up, cut out and ready for the electrician.
