Apparently, it can disseminate. I have put in a link to google hits that came up when I typed in "disseminated Toxocara".

From what I read quickly, first line of treatment is Albendazole, second line is Fenbendazole. One child was treated with diethylcarbamazine.

I have read on CZ that this drug is hard to get and is tricky to administer safely. I have purchased it here in Australia and sent it to Europe for a parasitised friend. He never took it to my knowledge.

Just something to keep in mind for the future if Alben does not work, but I think it will.
