Re: Ginagirl message

Yes, boron and Iodine are two elements that may increase / normalize the libido.

"Boron increases libido in women by stimulating the production of estradiol, which increases libido by stimulating the production of nitric oxide synthase, an enzyme that, in turn, catalyses the endogenous production of nitric oxide, a neurotransmitter involved in female libido.
In addition, boron has been shown to increase women’s levels of testosterone. Although testosterone is commonly regarded as a male hormone, it is responsible for libido in women."

But more important; finding the reasons why; like hypo or borderline hypo thyroid (most women I know in the 40-50 ies are in this catagory) Here the Iodine comes in!
-or other deficiencies.

Zinc is important, vit E as well. Zinc uptake is difficult if vegan or vegetarian.
Diet change; (change the diet etc that created the situation) Type of fatty acids matters, and the fat soluble vitamins.
