The real reason for rolling out smart meters is that they are remote switches to turn power off and on.

Like I said, I do not have a smart meter. They bugged me for a while under the pretense that I needed one because I had an air conditioner, which I don't have. I finally got them to include that information in my account, then they stopped.

If you can't see the implications of control of this power switch is then you are just naive.

If you can't process the fact that this country survived long before smart meters, or electricity for that matter then it might be you that is naive.

You need to get out more. The technology for intrupting electronics has surpassed smart meters by a long shot.

Not buying into yours, trappers, or jimminy stoners [which I think are the same] fear mongering.
