Re: Borax as rectal suppository?

What symptoms do you want to alleviate by using boric acid suppository?

Anyway; all I know is that boric acid suppositories have been used for decades, with success for vaginal trush / bacterial vaginosis and such.

But then again the ph of a healthy vagina is approx 4, boric acid somewhere between 3,8 and 5. In other words perfect for the vagina.

For the rectal tract it is different; fluids here appox ph 7 (because the right bacterias are supposed to thrive:). Also the membranes much thinner.
-I would suspect quite a burning from the acid in there, also the uptake of boron could be considerable.
Boric acid can be found in nature, but usually they make it chemically by adding sulfuric acid to borax.

Borax suppository mixed with coconut oil and some essential oil could be an option as at least the ph would be approx neutral. If you search the net you will find ways to make these yourself.
