DE works pretty well, but is a bit chalkier than baking soda, so harder to vacuum up or rinse off, which can lead to reinfestation. It is also carbon-based, being from fossils, therefore, the morg might be able to use it as a food source/building blocks when they rehydrate (think of it as being born into a bowl of old vegetable beef soup), so I shy away from it. Might be a good way of removing them from gut, but I haven't tried it.
