I can see this as potentially reducing problems associated with microbes, but I am wondering if it can truly disrupt the biofilms we discussed.

My research has uncovered such complexity with these parasitic microbes, like quorum sensing, that such solutions seem tentative, or temporary.

I am trying to develop a chitinase that can be absorbed safely by the animal, and disrupt the development of chitin spores and cysts, which I believe is the main contributor of persistent disease.
BTW it nice to have discussions with reasonable people like you.
