Re: Relief from Fecal Body Odor with a simple detox drink!
Hi everyone! Sorry I'm late! I'm very new to the site and lost hope that anyone would ever reply. I thought I'd receive a notification in my email. Also, I am not sure where to place this message, so I will put it here on the last reply! :)
I am so sorry I didn't clarify. Yes, please use FOOD GRADE DE!
Mary88, you should try again with lemons! I know limes are a close relative but they won't do the trick.
I stopped using the DE when I suspected it was causing me other problems, like in my knees(popping, cracking sound). I was taking activated charcoal(AC) before the lemon/DE combo. 840mg every night right before bed to be exact. I blame the AC. Now that I've been off the AC for about a month now, the sounds have occurred a lot less frequently. I'll be starting the lemon/DE and cucumber again with no worries!
Also, I suffer from one more problem with a smell coming out of my "nose," as I've known it since a week ago. I recently discovered that the smell doesn't just escape from my right nostril, but it escapes from my skin! I am not sure if I can only smell the smell USING my right nostril or if it comes OUT of my right nostril. Interestingly enough, I can't smell it using my left nostril - even when it's filled the entire room.. Weird. Anyway, I now know that milk and milk products cause this. The smell comes out of my mouth, nose, and off of my skin at the same time. I think I may be lactose intolerant as well. Severe gas and bloating accompany this smell until the gas escapes my bum and contributes to my foul, gassy aura. So I consume milk product, which lately has been coffee drinks with milk, and the bacteria in my gut transform the lactose into smelly gas that build up in me until it leaves my body through any route of escape. I am then surrounded by a foul, fecal-smelling odor for hours.
This problem isn't solved using the lemon and DE. This fecal odor is much stronger. I can smell it and taste it. I haven't had it come back in about a week since I had my last coffee. I eat a slice of cheese here and there but I don't smell anything afterward.
Does anyone else experience this? I usually can make the smell come out of my nose by inhaling deeply and sharply through the right nostril, by blowing the right nostril, or by laughing too hard. What frustrates me is that if the smell comes and I haven't smelled it for a week or two, I will be able to smell it in my breath, skin, car, and my house. As you can see, I have reason to believe that this smell is just an intensified version of what I smell like daily. Why would I smell the odor upon arrival to home if it came back while I was out? It's such a mystery. Does anyone think this is a legit connection to lactose intolerance?
