Re: Is this Exfoliative Cheilitis?

Yeah, I do have fordyce spots, but the especialist I mentioned on the message to WS said that they were not the cause, and that i dont have EC, but a hyperkeratose caused by constantly friction between the lips, caused by my tentative to hide the problem by kinda smiling and forcing my lips backwards. It seems that the conditions appearances are quite similar, and a lot of people are wrongly diagnosed with EC. Today the crusts felt during the shower, and the skin that was under doesn't seem to be raw. I kept those crusts for 10 days. I gently applied a soft lip balm with fps 50 and stopped the friction between the lips, and it seems that no more crusts are forming. But it is the first day, and I can't confirm that I'm cured from the condition. I'll update my status on this page. And no, I do not bite my lips, but I used to cause friction between them in order to hide the crusts
