I think it does go hand in hand. When my symptoms are bad, I get dehydrated, no matter how much water I drink, and have low urine output...even with some neurogenic bladder. I will also get some dull pain in the area of the kidneys when that happens. I find that drinking baking soda water, helps, as well as using vitamin E suppositories, (vaginally/rectally), helps to bring some calmness to the urinary tract. (I don't know if you're male or female, but this TMI may help othsrs, so I shared.)

I haven't got a full picture, yet, of my situation, as my first appt with an endocronilogist isn't until September.
