Re: People on here are obsessed with having perfect lips

People are completely misunderstanding my point. I am not saying that people who have EC have normal lips. Its pretty obvious that EC lips are not normal.

I am saying that I think that people on here have become so obsessed with their lips, and healing their lips, that they wont be happy unless their lips are 100% perfect. And Im saying that most people in real life don't have 100% perfect lips, so people's expectations on here are way too high.

I saw people commenting on Daniel Millers' picture, saying that his lips looked "OK". Im sorry but if his lips just look "OK" to you, then you are shit out of luck. Because his lips look better than 95% of the world.

My point is that its about time that people started tempering their expectations. Most of us may never have 100% healed/normal lips, including me. Im not saying there is anything wrong with trying your hardest to achieve it (like I still am) but Im saying that, if you cannot be happy with lips that look like Daniels or mine, just because you have to put chapstick on or something, then your lips aren't the real problem. Its being obsessed with having perfect lips that is your problem. Tweet
