Not all clays are pure enough for internal cosumption. Not all clay is Bentonite. Bentonite must first be hydrated before ingesting. So unless you have the knowledge of the type of clay and it's purity and info on the ratio for hydrating it for ingestion you're better off buying the prehyrdated stuff for internal consumption. In my neck of the woods the hydrated sutff I've found at the healthfood stores is Yerba Prima Great Plains Bentonite
