Re: Please help - hair is shedding...:(

Excellent Ginagirl, Selenium for gluthation is necessary !

Critical is also L-Cysteine, the 2 other amino acids are everywhere in the food.

L-Cysteine contains Sulphur and is one of the main amino acids of keratine in hair.

Lack of zinc is responsible for hairloss, even animals loose their hair if insufficient in Zinc, for example, pHuskies need it more than others, Beagles are supplemented with so much of Calcium for their spine that they lack Zinc and loose hair, idem young veals loose it...

With this propaganda of Calcium for strong bones, people loose their oligoelements like Zinc, Manganese etc.

Calcium is an antagonist of Zinc ! Too much Calcium, much less Zinc !

Selenium and Sulphur are metalloids and easily combined and used by metals like Zinc, Iron etc., that s way it is important not to take them together but at the distance at least 4 hours.

Biotin and vit. B5 and B6 are very important for growth of hair.

Vit. B6 transforms this dangerous homocysteine in cysteine, necessary for hair growth, gluthation etc.
