Re: differing doctor opinions on salivary cortisol

EMPHATIC yes to all of these questions! Especially the jumpy/startle reflex part. I was lucky that my PCP suffers from dysautonomia like I do. (So, she kind of feels my pain.) I am the one who asked for the salivary cortisol test and I think she ordered it just to humor me. However, she is also the one that said my test is normal. So, I'm not sure what to do with that...lol! My cardiologist put me on florinef (a steroid) awhile back to raise my bp. It did help tremendously with my fatigue & bp. However, it made me VERY crabby. So I decided the side effect wasn't worth taking the meds. No one likes a constantly crabby mommy! ESPECIALLY MOMMY! Thanks to everyone for their sweet replies. I need all the help I can get:)
