Re: Nystatin with antibiotics/protozoals

Do you realize the differences between anaerobes, protozoans, gram negative and positive bacteria and the way you treat each varies? Do you realize the different ways to treat just gram positive bacteria? No physician in their right mind would treat a bacterial infection with an anti-protozoal other than a sulfonamide and it isn't curative on most protozoans. I feel like I'm arguing with my daughter on something she has no clue about. Go back and read my original answer to your question. I wasn't being a "know-it-all" and was just trying to help you and provide you with some information. You wanted to "prove me wrong" sent me the ugly PM and then started one of the most unbelievable debates I've ever seen. I don't know what kind of work you do for a living but it's like me trying to tell you how to do your work. It's funny actually.
