Re: Hydrogen peroxide plus lugol's

Thanks glaxony for your reply.

I'm not too worried about anything. Since I'm really new to not being a sheep to the medical community, I'm trying a lot of things. Even though I've received a LOT of supplements, I'm not going crazy and popping them all at the same time. I'm trying to be very methodical about it. But as you know, it is really hard to make your life a *controlled* experiment. But, I think everyone on this forum has a bit of an experimental nature in them. Since these remedies aren't clinical trials, we do have to tinker with a lot of things. Another part that gets me is that sometimes I don't know if I'm herxing or not. Keeps you in a state of perpetual confusion - should I be happy that I"m feeling like crap, or is this something bad that is making me sick, or breaking out, since acne is my major complaint right now (I do realize that it is something internal).

Honestly, the reason why I'm asking this question is for one, like I said, I don't have any experience. Also, since I'm dealing with H2O2, I know that it can be dangerous. I'm just trying to make sure that I"m not doing something monumentally stupid. And I get that everyone is different too. We all have different bodies, and we all have different histories. For example, I've been doing topical lugol's 2% the last 3 days. Nothing big, I think I did like 3 drops or so. But I've been getting nosebleeds on it.

My main big concern is that both of them are supposed to be done either early in the morning or empty stomach for maximum effect. If it isn't a problem, I would like to do both together since I already have an empty stomach in the morning. But with one being an oxidant and one being an anti-oxidant, I'm worried about both of them neutralizing each other, leaving with me ABSOLUTELY no benefits and potentially exposing me to a health risk. Just trying to guard against that. I had seen an earlier thread about trapper extoling the virtues of peroxide and how it helped him cure his emphysema. I don't have emphysema, but if it can cure emphysema (and this was the tallest claim out of all), I'm encouraged that it will be more than effective for some of my more relatively minor issues.

Hope my response makes sense,

Fullset
