Re: Arginine & Ornithine Dr Clark's parasite cleanse

Most protozoans cause a problem as polyamines are destroyed during the cytokine cascade. The rate limiting step in polyamine production is ornithine decarboxylase and it acts on ornithine. The problem occurs since most polyamines are intracellular and their extracellular destruction causes and imbalance between intracellular and extracellular spermadine. Arginine is the cofactor in transport between intracellular and extracellular polyamines and it is believed that protozoans deplete arginine. In essences, Dr Clark just wants to replenish what is being lost by normal bodily processes that are over burdened by pathogens.
